The International Wine and Spirit Competition’s Wine Distributor of the Year for 2021, Liberty Wines is looking for an Events Co-Ordinator to work within our small but dynamic events team.You would be part of the team organising a wide range of events from large trade tastings with 750 wines through to small, intimate winemaker dinners for selected press.Working closely with the Head of Events and Marketing Support, you will be instrumental in planning and executing our calendar of tastings. You will liaise with the Brand Management team and our producers, and be a main point of contact for our two annual portfolio tastings in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, plus one in Manchester, as well as our Burgundy, Italian and Australian category tastings. In addition to our own events, you will co-ordinate Liberty Wines’ presence at externally-organised generic, trade and consumer events, including Prowein.Your experience in event management should include, but is not limited to, the production of invitations, managing RSVPs, communication and liaison with producers, tasting list preparation, product ordering, and sourcing and negotiating with venues, vendors and suppliers. You will also be comfortable managing budgets, as well as analysing success and preparing reports for each event.Essential skills and experience:Events experience required, with proven ability to work effectively to deadlines
