Job Description

We are working with a membership body based in central London who are looking to recruit a Events Administrator who will work on their programme of yearly seminars.As a membership body they have over 10,000 members, they promote best practice through their programme of events.In this role you will provide administrative support within the events team, and be responsible for delegate management for the events. You will also ensure that the seminars run smoothly and efficiently, within budget.As Events Administrator you will

  • Work with the Events Manager to develop seminar targets, ensuring seminars are priced correctly.
  • Work with the wider team to keep the seminar programme innovative and fresh.
  • Be responsible for the end to end management and running of seminars.
  • Be responsible for all organiser, speaker, exhibitor and delegate management for seminars - and the day to day management.
  • Produce accurate financial records of booking taken for meetings, and issue invoices where necessary.
To be successful in the role you will
  • Have 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably (but not necessarily in events).
  • Administrative experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.
  • Experience of prioritising tasks to meet the changing needs of a business.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities, and managing tight deadlines.
