Events Administrator£20,400 pa plus excellent benefitsLondon Bridge, London35 hours per week, full-timeAs Events Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for a variety of internal and external events, both face-to-face and virtually held.The Events Administrator is an important role within the Events Team as you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to Members, Fellows, delegates and colleagues, ensuring that they receive a high quality of service on behalf of the College.Reporting to the Senior Events Officer and Events Manager, you will act as first point of contact for the Events Team, handling all queries and managing the administrative process for event facilitation, including liaising with events stakeholders such asspeakers, programme leads and delegates.You will also assist in the research and promotion of opportunities for events, distributing sponsorship packages, confirming sponsorship acquisitions and ensuring requirements are fulfilled onsite. You will be part of the Colleges onsite Events Team forlarger face-to-face events, supporting with set-up and registration. Therefore travel in the UK and overseas, including overnight stays, may be required in order to develop and deliver the Colleges event programme.Educated to a good standard, you will have first class administrative abilities along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of customer-facing roles. An understanding of GDPR is essential. A background of event administrationand of managing databases would be desirable.The Royal College of Emergency Medicine was established to advance education and research in Emergency Medicine. The College is responsible for setting standards of training and administering examinations in Emergency Medicine for the award of Fellowshipand Membership of the College as well as recommending trainees for CCT in Emergency Medicine.
