Job Description

Event Sales ExecutiveLocation:London, N1 - a short walk from Old Street stationSalary: £22,000-£25,000 per annum (OTE of £40,000)Hours of Work:9am to 6pm, Monday to FridayAbout the Company:Our client is an early career expert. They work with FTSE 100 companies, such as McDonald’s, PwC and Clifford Chance, to help them attract candidates of the highest calibre to their graduate and apprenticeship programmes. They are based a short walk from Old Street station in London.They run some of the biggest and highly anticipated events in the early careers market, including:

  • The School Leaver Awards
  • The Early Careers Conference
  • The Top Law Firms Awards
  • Plus a series of smaller bespoke events throughout the year.Event Sales Executive Responsibilities:
  • Selling delegate tickets and tables to their flagship events
  • Selling sponsorship packages to their flagship events
  • Upselling and cross-selling special event offers to their existing clients
  • Selling sponsorship packages and securing attendance for their smaller bespoke events
  • Building relationships with their clients and representing the company at events
  • Lead generation
  • Encouraging companies to register to take part in our awards process
  • Assisting the Events Project Manager in the successful coordination and delivery of events for their sponsors, delegates and guests
  • Event Sales Executive Requirements:
  • Highly-motivated and proactive sales executive with proven ability in B2B sales
  • At least 1-3 years B2B sales experience (event sales experience desirable)
  • Undergraduate degree (2:1 minimum) in any subject field
  • Confident on the phone, in face to face meetings and networking at corporate events
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys getting stuck in and working in a fast-paced environment
