Job Description

Event PlannerThis thriving business within the wellness industry based in some incredible offices in SW London are looking for an Event Planner to focus on organising in-person, hybrid and virtual events to strengthen their brand, and ensuring business success.Event Planner - What will I be doingReporting to the Events Manager, the role will plan and execute events for the business in the UK and Europe, ensuring that the companys marketing and sales strategy is supported.

  • Events including but not limited to Regional Conventions, Leadership Retreats, Educational Events, Contests, Tours, Expos, and Corporate Meetings will be supported and delivered by this role.
  • Project management and administrative responsibility including venue booking, speaker liaison, travel, and delegate management.
  • Liaison with relevant staff on travel arrangements, hotel accommodation etc.
  • Measuring the success of Conventions, Leadership Retreats, Educational Events, Contests, Regional Tours, Expos, and meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Event supplier contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Supervision of contracted suppliers for in person and digital events.
Event Planner - What experience do I need
  • Previous demonstrable experience as an Events Coordinator/Planner is essential.
  • International events experience and Large-scale events experience are essential.
  • Relevant marketing or business undergraduate or equivalent qualification.
  • Digital Event experience is required
  • Excellent organisational, project management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of English, both oral and written.
  • Must be able to travel frequently and work any day of the week, especially weekends as most events take place over the weekend.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to attend events in person.
Event Planner - What else do I need to knowThis is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home - you will need to be able to be away from home frequently for this role to attend events.
