Job Description

Join a globally renowned online publisher who deliver professional education courses, webinars, events and exhibitions (both online and in-person) in the US, UK, Europe and the APAC region, covering a wealth of sectors.Our client has been thriving for over 40 years, and now, due to an exciting period of accelerated growth they are looking for an Event Assistant to support on an exciting portfolio of events. This role will be working on one of the companys most exciting portfolios. Our client host some of the industrys most high-profile B2B events in locations such as LA, New Yorkand London (and yes, you will attend the events you work on!). Past attendees of these events include executives from Netflix, Universal, Christian Louboutin and many more worldwide names in the creative space!Working closely with the CEO and Event Manager, the Event Assistant will be responsible for delivering high quality events both online and in-person.Our client pride themselves on recruiting some of the best talent in the industry, and for this reason you will be working with some of the brightest and best minds in the events world!Our client offers a wealth of attractive benefits, but above all they offer an exciting career with training, development and progression you wont find elsewhere.About the roleReporting to Head of Operations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative support across all face-to-face events, online courses, and webinars, including, but not limited to:
    • Setting up of events, courses and webinars on the relevant platforms and populating content
    • Supporting online registrations
    • Administrative support leading up to, and on the day of, the event/course/webinar
    • Producing badges and attendee lists - face to face events
  • General office administration
  • Maintaining database
Requirements
  • 2.1 degree
  • 1 year experience in the commercial conferencing industry is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written skills
  • Be highly organised
  • Be detailed orientated
  • Have the flexibility to travel internationally for the role
