Job Description

European Sales Manager: As a result of impressive sustained growth an experienced, target driven Territory or Field Sales Manager is required to identify and convert new commercial opportunities with prospective and existing clients for an ambitious Electronics brand with over 40 years’ experience of working with some of world’s best known broadcast, telecommunications and set top box manufacturing companies such as LG, Technicolor, Canal+, Sagemcom, Telecom Italia, Telefonica and FreeboxTW Electronics pride themselves on developing and producing remote controls of the highest mechanical quality. With industry leading experience in managing many complex projects combined with their expertise in BLE and voice implementations TW Electronics are perfectly placed to further develop across their commercial operation throughout mainland Europe.The successful European Sales Manager will have previous successful experience of building commercial relationships in a genuine hunter/farmer, B2B role. Whilst the ideal candidate will have experience in the Consumer Electronics industry, applications are also encouraged from candidates working in allied industries with the desire to succeed and a track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a territory-based role. Self-motivation and the ability to work remotely are essential prerequisites of the role.Applications from candidates based anywhere throughout the UK and mainland Europe are welcomed equally.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new markets, building trusted customer and client relationships
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Influence product management, visual merchandising, pricing and promotional strategies
  • Preparing presentations, proposals and negotiating sales contracts
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, demonstrations and seminars
  • Forecasting / planning / reviewing sales performance and targets
  • Gathering market, competitor and customer data whilst executing product and marketing strategy
  • Contribute to the design team NPD opportunity development, design & development.
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure smooth, efficient & effective delivery to your customers.
  • Contribute to the Annual Budget creation and re-forecasting as required.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a similar international field sales, business development or account management role, ideally in the remote control/consumer electronics industry.
  • Highly organised with the ability to maximise effectiveness in an international sales role.
  • Able to undertake regular short duration travel throughout Europe and occasionally the Far East.
  • Personable and engaging via phone, email and face to face, an ambassador for the brand
  • Proven account management and new business development sales experience
  • A natural communicator
  • Passionate, determined and resourceful
