European Marketing Director - Exciting Tech / Retail International Scaleup - up to £110k + generous bonus - London / Hybrid Working AvailableWe are on the hunt for an exceptional Marketer, with some European marketing experience, to join an incredible circular-economy scaleup in the midst of international expansion as their European Marketing Director.Reporting to the President - International, the European Marketing Director will be responsible for the development, strategy and execution of the marketing plan in Europe; you will drive the business forward by implementing and developing impactful marketing strategies and you will play a key role in growing brand awareness.This is a broad role covering a variety of marketing areas across B2C, B2B and retail marketing to be executed as part of a rapid test and learn plan before being scaled.This position needs someone with exceptional marketing skills; someone with a creative and innovative outlook coupled with experience working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation; someone who can demonstrate a strong track record in a commerciallysuccessful role.You will be joining the team at a time of rapid-growth, so youll be excited to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, building your own European marketing team. You will be strategic, analytical and commercially minded, detailed and accurate yet also consumerfocused and hands-on; a leader, a mentor and a team player.You will lead a small team with a view to building and scaling capability and headcount.Ultimately, you will be part of a high performing team and will be instrumental in establishing the company as a key player in the re-commerce of electronic devices in Europe.In a nutshell:Were looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about both marketing strategy and the execution. • Driving the business forward by testing and scaling impactful marketing activity and delivering targets
• Developing the European marketing strategy and plans
• Setting marketing objectives, KPI and targets
• Defining marketing budgets and tracking marketing spend
• Managing the successful execution of marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness, support expansion and drive customer conversion, to include:
  • Managing retail marketing campaigns in collaboration with retail/network partners
  • Managing B2C marketing campaigns across digital channels: SEM, social, display, digital OOH and VOD
  • POS and VM
  • Leading PR strategy and activation amongst B2C and B2B audience to drive awareness and credibility of the brand
  • Managing B2B marketing campaigns that establishes brand reputation and supports the commercial strategy
• Working closely with the European channel teams to support expansion in key countries
• Working closely with the US team on their test and learn plan, identifying activity that could be relevant to test in Europe
• Leading and growing the European marketing team
• Managing agencies, vendors and contractors ensuring the delivery of campaigns on target, on time and on budget
• Measuring and reporting on performance of marketing initiatives

• Solid experience in a senior marketing role with some experience gained in Europe (UK, DE and/or FR as a minimum)
• Strategic and commercially minded creative leader with the ability to plan and execute the full marketing strategy
• B2C marketing expertise, ideally gained in a business with retail distribution
• Solid track record of developing and implementing effective B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
• Experienced in brick and mortar retail marketing
• Real desire to join a fast-growing scaleup organisation where you will be a key player as the company expands globally
• Media, creative and PR agency management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in building and leading a team
• Fluent English; a second European language would be highly beneficial
• Track record of delivering fast growth for an innovative business is advantageous
• Previous experience in a successful startup/scaleup organisation would be preferable
• A fun, creative and entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity with eco-friendly, sustainable products
• Ability to travel within the UK and Europe as necessary
