Job Description

The European Planning and Inventory Director will be a leader in the European Supply Chain team.Client DetailsMultinational company with more than 40 years of experience in the global consumer electronics market.Description

  • Responsible for the analysis, compilation, executive recommendation / presentation / gaining approvals and processing of a rolling 18-month cyclical TGCS SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Product Forecast.
  • The scope of the role covers Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning and approved forecast integration with the global supply chain.
  • It will encompass the management and execution of optimum inventory levels both at a European and country inventory level.
  • Maximising inventory rotations in all warehouses, minimising costs (waste, scrapping, aged etc).
  • Regular engagement and interaction with the Senior Mgt and Executive team, as well as close collaboration with peers and business leaders across Finance, Procurement, Portfolio and Sales (within each regional team), as well as effective teaming with keyContract Manufacturer Mgt and Senior Mgt counterparts.
Profile
  • Previous Supply Chain Management experience (ideally gained within Technology environment).
  • Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Advanced knowledge in Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting and Supply Chain Processes.
  • Experience of regular and effective engagement with all levels of management.
  • Strong Analytical capabilities, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to display process and thought leadership across a European and globally diverse team.
  • Successful history of working with customers and suppliers (both internal and external).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle ERP system.
