Job Description

Estimator LV/HV & EV ChargingSalary 40,000 - 55,000 My Client is a UK Engineering Contractor who work in the Utilities SectorThey are looking to recruit an experienced estimator to join their existing team to provide the accurate and timely monitoring of designated contracts performance in relation to financial and contractual matters, in accordance with policies and procedures.The successful candidate will;Have experience of EV charging or Utilities (LV -11kV ICP connections) for a Main Contractor or come from a similar Civils / Infrastructure background.You must can able to read and understand a contract, previous experience with FIDIC and NEC will be an advantage.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare budget for each contract designated and ensure alignment with tender submission.
  • Ensure that supply chain and resources are procured within budget.
  • Provide monthly CVRs
  • Some project management requirements
  • Advise Commercial Manager of any contractual issues.
  • To work closely with the operational teams.
  • Develop a sound working relationship with client and supply chain.
  • Responsible for the financial and contractual tracking of each contract.
  • Preparation of accurate monthly reports.
  • Ensure contracts are managed in accordance with the Companys financial processes and procedures.
Essential:Degree qualified.Active participant in professional activities of construction related bodies e.g RICS, IOB, CECACompetent and proven negotiator. Experienced in value engineering techniques.
