Job Description

Estimator/Project Manager. To 45k DOE 8am to 5.30 am Mon to FridayOur valued client manufactures and installs marble, they tender for large and small projects from simple bathroom vanity tops to large-scale multi plot contracts in new build houses and apartments. With more than 30 years experience in the industry,their team work closely with architects and interior designers, as well as individuals who are looking for product advice and ideas. Estimators from marble, stone or glass industry would be most desirable.Daily activities for the Estimator to include;

  • Estimating
  • Negotiate contract and payment terms - JCT Contracts
  • Research New Tenders and Business Development
  • Prepare Valuations & Billing
  • Project Management - Liaise with customers, deal with correspondences, keep records
  • Research & Purchase Material
  • Arrange Material & Sundry Deliveries
  • Authorise Sub-Contractor payments
  • Site Management - Setting material & organising fitters & labourers. Deal with quality checks & access facilities
  • Stock Control - Project Material
  • Maintain Work Schedules for Projects
  • Prepare Template & Cutting Sheets for Production
  • RAMS
  • Prepare Progress reports & Job Costing
