Opportunity to support London based family in management of their UK and overseas estates. This will encompass both looking after their private and commercial property portfolio and all that comes with it.Client DetailsLondon-based family office is looking for a Estates Manager to oversee its primarily residential property estate portfolio.Description-Take ownership of the supervision of the relevant teams in residential and commercial assets.- Lead on Financial planning (budgets/cashflow) with assistance of in-house finance team- Provide clear and concise weekly reports to the Principal on all departmental issues with a strong focus on planning budgets/cashflow and key decisions required by Principal.- Act as Client Representative / Project Manager on commercial property refurbishment projects- Act as Landlord representative for commercial properties including negotiating lease terms as well as the provision and fulfilment of supplier contracts to third parties.- Manage the smooth functioning and maintenance of commercial and residentialProfileThe successful candidate may have gathered experience in a residential property management setting, family office, private households or luxury hotels.The ideal candidate for this position will be an excellent communicator with a commitment to deliver service that is exceptional.Ideally, relevant candidates will possess the following qualities:- Effective leadership skills with ability to supervise and scrutinise;- Strong numeracy and financial planning with ability to liaise effectively with the in-house finance team on all financial matters;- Excellent reporting skills with emphasis on clear timetables and execution- Capable of overseeing progress of future / ongoing construction works and refurbishment projects;- Extensive experience in managing contractors and suppliers.- Actively seeks ways of improving the asset portfolio, clearly defining the benefits of making proposed changes and implementing them;- Works seamlessly with team members in each department, ensuring all staff know what they are required to report and when;- Install protocols that allow a consistent exceptional level of service across all assets;- Develops and implements effective systems of administration and documentation;Job OfferCompetitive salary and benefits together with opportunity to enjoy a really exciting and unique job.
