Job Description

FM Estate Manager / General Manager (who has managed a commercial mixed use scheme) with a heavy FM bias or Shopping Centre Manager looking for something a little bit different As well as managing a variety of tenants (retail & commercial), As Estate Manager / General Manager you will be ambassador for the development, leading a team, preparing & managing large service charge budgets, marketing & commercialisation and being the "face" of the development, ensuring first class customer service, service delivery and drive profitability.The Estate Manager / General Manager role involves:

  • Continual improvement and quality
  • Liaise with the client on service delivery and working relationships
  • Administrative accounting and accurate financial reporting detail
  • Health & Safety
  • Environmental initiatives
  • Relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders
  • Strategic input into future & ongoing building projects for the development
  • Management of facilities management staff & team
  • Preparation of monthly operational reports
  • Liaison on all security matter including the Police
  • Managing tenant relationships
  • Tenant engagement initiatives
  • Events and commercialisation
    • Qualification/Experience:
  • Experience of building relationships & working with local communities and stakeholders
  • Lead, develop and inspire an FM team.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all tenants
  • Have a strong FM background and understanding and the ability to appreciate different tenants in a mixed use environment and the challenges they face
  • Experience of working in a busy, demanding and pressured environment
  • Experience of managing facilities management services and preparing large service charge budgets
  • Proven experience on all security matters
  • Ability to work closely with other senior colleagues within which key roles are shared and with the ultimate Client.
