We help organisations build resilience throughout their organisation with excellence in governance, risk management, compliance and controls. We split GRC into 5 sub-propositions: Compliance, ESG, Risk Management,Controls, and Deals. We are scaling a significant ESG-focused practice within the Risk line of service. We support our clients to manage ESG related risks and create value, with services focused on ESG reporting advisory, third party risk management, riskmodelling and ESG crisis and issues management.The role Working within the GRC team in Risk, with a focus specifically on ESG, will see you working on a variety of challenging and career-advancing engagements. You will work across a diverse range of well-knownclients within our Commercial and Government practice and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects right from the start. We work with many of the top companies in the world, in Entertainment & Media, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences, Telecoms & Technology,Energy, Utilities & Mining, Retail & Consumer and Industrial Products as well as world class Government & Public Sector organisations. You will be constantly learning, and your ideas will be welcomed in an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration and teamwork.Asa Senior Associate, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will work with clients to help them develop and implement ESG and Sustainability policies and procedures, defineroles and responsibilities, and implement performance metrics and performance monitoring processes to address ESG related issues. This includes the review and implementation of clients business processes in relation to regulatory reporting requirements, suchTCFD and SECR reporting. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of the wider ESG proposition for the Risk line of service within PwC UK. The essentialsStrong understanding of ESG principles and ability to apply them in a practical and commercialsettingDemonstrable experience of working on multiple projects, managing your time effectively to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines;A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate new client propositions;Ability to communicate clearlywith colleagues and clients at all levels;Good report writing skills;Possession of strong team working skills;Excellent client relationship; andCommercial acumen and an interest in how complex organisations operate; and strong analytical, logic and problem-solvingskills.Preferred SkillsAcademic background in ESG, Climate or Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field; andDemonstrates thorough knowledge of and/or a proven record of success in directing efforts in the following areas:Sustainability / ESG Reporting,including preparing, reviewing or advising on ESG reporting requirements, e.g. TCFD and/or other related fields;ESG / Sustainability Strategy; Climate Risk Modeling and Management; Sustainable Finance;An ability to analyse strategic, operational, risk andfinancial implications of sustainability trends and translate these into commercial impact; andParticipating in business development activities.Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years Risk Were a leading provider of trust in the digital world - in the eyes ofour people, our clients and our stakeholders.
