A new role is available in the Equity Modelling team, providing analysis and advice to guide the share ownership strategy, consider the long term impact and the Group’s success and financial outcome.The role will include:Assisting with strategy evaluation by considering the impact of different strategies on the share price and shareholdersWorking with advisors to review and develop the Group’s share ownership strategySignificantinteraction with GEC, members of the Board and our investorsThis role will give an excellent insight into the way the Group builds shareholder value and shares the value creation with its employees.Key Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesUnderstand the share ownership and incentive structure and be able to explain this to others, both internally and externallyPeriodically review the share incentive structure and approach and provide recommendations to the Board on the approachClearly communicate with senior management and provide guidance on share incentivesPrepare and present reports for the Board and GEC on the share incentives, shareholder demographics and other matters as neededBe a key contact for the external investors on matters relating to the group’s share capital, valuation and share incentive schemesWork with the Corporate Finance team on significant projects and M&A proposals which relate to our share capitalUnderstand the drivers of the valuation and update the equity model for valuation scenarios suitable for external investors, tax valuations and internal analysisKeep up to date on changes in tax and other legislation which may impact the shareholder base, both in the UK and other jurisdictionsDeputise for the Equity Modelling Director where appropriateSkills and abilities needed to perform roleAbility to communicate clearly and persuade and influence othersAbility to build effective relationships with individuals across the Group’s geographies and business divisions and external advisorsWell organised individual able to build and maintain structure in challenging situationsProven quantitative and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statement analysisAbility to provide a balanced view considering the needs of different stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)Candidates with knowledge of at least one other language are desirable but not crucialKnowledge and ExperiencePrior experience in a role with significant exposure to share incentives, financial analysis and modellingExperience of close interaction with senior management, giving presentationsand strong communications skillsCompliance & Regulatory ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all applicable Group and/or Company policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsEnsure that own performance, HR and T&C records are up to date and meet the Group and/or Company’s requirementsEnsure compliance with Anti-Bribery and Corruption policy and proceduresProfessional QualificationsHigh quality Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ACA or equivalent with 8+ years of post qualification experience
