The RoleEquity & Fixed Income Trade Support & Settlements. FJR Finance is currently representing a City-based Bank to urgently hire an Equity & Fixed Income Trade Support & Settlements Analyst to join their team. The role is for an initial 6-month basis and is for possibly longer too (even permanent).The role is due to both growth in the business, new Asset-classes that are being trades and generally, increased work-load since COVID-19. The interview process with be via Microsoft Teams, or Zoom interviews and in addition the Onboarding and start process will be working from home, with full training to be provided, until otherwise advised.The company is a stable and friendly bank to work for and there is a lot of change and process improvement going on there over the next couple of years, so it is an exciting time to join. Our client is looking for someone with a minimum of 2-years Equity & Fixed Income Trade Support & Settlements experience.The department do not have separate functions for Trade Support and Settlements, so the position encompasses joint traditional "back office Operations duties, i.e. Equity & Fixed Settlements and traditional "Middle Office Operations duties such as the team being responsible to book their own trades.Our client is looking for someone who has had previous experience using Summit (for Trade Capture and Trade processing) and also SWIFT (MT103 and MT202s, which is used for both Payments as well as Standard Settlement Instructions/ SSIs to Custodians). Our client also needs someone who is hungry to learn with Operations and to learn their way of doing things.The position involves liaising with lots of different internal departments based in both their London office, as well as their international offices.They uses different custodians depending upon the market, but these include (Eucilid) Euroclear, as well as Emerging markets such as Turkey, Egypt, Romania & Poland.SalaryBetween £180 per day- £250 per day, dependent upon experience.
