Job Description

Join our communityThis role supports the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager in the effective identification, assessment, management and reporting of capital risk, acting where appropriate to remediate or escalate potential issues. The role is also responsible for the review and challenge of the bank wide stress test exercises. The role holder will be actively involved in the planning, challenge of assumptions & results, proposal of actions and evidencing this process in line with regulatoryrequirements. The difference you will make

  • Participate in the review and challenge of the different stress testing exercises (e.g., ICAAP, ACS)
  • Collate, review and challenge documentation presented at Stress Testing Risk Control Forums, ensuring it is compliant with the prescribed guidelines
  • Monitor RWA and EC consumption against targets. Raise concerns and escalate breaches
  • Review and challenge capital projections in the budget, 3-year plan and stress scenarios
  • Prepare minutes to evidence the results of the review and challenge process. Capture actions identified in this process and monitor their progress
  • Participate in the annual review of the Capital Risk Framework
What you will bring
  • Quantitative thinker. Ability to understand existing processes and proactively identify inconsistencies and develop potential solutions
  • Good understanding of capital metrics and stress testing exercises
It would be nice for you to have
  • Previous experience in EWRM, Capital or Stress Testing teams
  • Detailed knowledge of Capital Regulation
  • Visual Basic for Applications
