Job Description

This role is for the Reference Data Management Transformation Program Manager in the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO). The Reference Data Strategy team will facilitate all aspects of ECDOs agenda around Reference Data in particular (e.g., client/customerdata; instrument/product data; end of day pricing data) in full partnership with the ECDO and the Federated CDOs, as well as areas in Technology and Operations developing reference data platforms and processes and adopting them. This role will partner closely with the core reference data strategy team, business sponsors and technology across the enterprise to structure and maintain all the reference data projects across Lines of Business. The scope will primarily include EnterpriseCustomer, Product Master, and Business Entity Master, but will also ensure appropriate levels of integration and capabilities across all reference data domains. Master Data Management (MDM) is the core process used to manage, centralize, organize, categorize, synchronize, and enrich master data according to business rules. MDM enables Citi to organize data in how it is stored, processed, and used across the organization.It enables governance of data as a business asset independent of applications, processes, and the organization with data owners being accountable for data quality. Responsibilities:

• Drive the successful delivery of all MRD projects ensuring stream lead and business expectation is always met or exceeded on requirements, time, cost and quality
• Ensure the program delivers in line with the Program strategy and that the ongoing scope continues to align to that strategy
• Work closely with stream leads, business sponsors and technology to ensure the projects cover all aspects required to be successful
• Actively drive partners in other parts of the organization to ensure end to end deliverables of the project are achieved
• Report regularly on progress to MRD heads and ensure appropriate governance processes are followed
• Develop and build strong working partnerships and strategic relationships with key partners across businesses and technology to align implementation and operational strategies
• Help developing the project plan, overseeing the completion of all project artefacts and ensuring the collection of all evidence required to support project completion and internal audit validation
• Help teams on specific business analysis tasks including developing business flows, analyzing data, summarizing business requirements and preparing business artefacts
• Identify, prioritize and proactively manage dependencies, risk, exceptions and issues

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data governance
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferably in Financial Services, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing complex transformation portfolios
• Financial service acumen and/or experience to support portfolio creation
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to accurately determine length and difficulty of tasks and projects
• Track record in business analysis and project management
• Strategic thinker; must be able to look towards a broad view of an issue or challenge; can think globally; and can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to partner on teams through direct and matrix reporting lines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to bring clarity to challenging problems and to help others engage in and embrace a solution
• Able to leverage strong business acumen to effectively interact with a broad variety of stakeholders
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities
• Strong professional presence; confident in presenting a balanced view to key stakeholders

Education: Bachelors/University degree in Business, Financial Services or Technology/Engineering related subject area.
