Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect / Application Architect - (Azure), Application Enterprise Application, Strategic Data Architecture, Roadmaps, APIs, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS IBM FileNet (Desirable); TOGAF. Insurance / Financial Services, Permanent, LondonOR Crawley, West Sussex, (Remote/Hybrid 3 days per week in office), c.£90k +Bonus +Excellent Benefits Global Insurance Corporation currently seeks an Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect to provide architectural, design and consultancy in relation to global enterprise wide systems which are highly transactional in nature. You will be responsible for leading strategic application and solution architecture across enterprise level systems by undertaking strategic planning and documenting system architectures and delivering both high and low level designs. Specifically, this willinvolve creation of technical design documentation and roadmaps which enable the build and enhancement of enterprise wide (global) application modularisation and modernisation including adoption of microservice architecture models. You will employ a rangeof architecture patterns such as DDD, BDD and TDD. You will be able to influence both business and technical stakeholders to help drive architectural initiatives within the application architecture space resulting in better output across a range of businessplatforms as well as better efficiency across the global enterprise. The role has visibility across EMEA, LATAM and ASIAPAC. This is a senior level technical role which does not require any hands on coding or development activity however ability to create high level and low level design and data models will be required. You will however need to have come from within a backgroundof technical experience incorporating SaaS, PaaS, API design and Microservice Architecture. You will work on a range of enterprise systems including Enterprise Content Management platforms such as IBM FileNet so any experience here would be useful. We are searching for an Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect / Application Architect ideally from within the Insurance/Reinsurance sector but other areas of Financial Service will be acceptable. You will have worked as an Enterprise Architect / SolutionArchitect / Application Architect in a European or global organisation ideally within Insurance, Reinsurance, Pensions, Banking, Financial Services or consultancy firms such as Accenture, Cognizant, CapGemini, IBM etc. You will possess an ability to create high level designs, low level technical design and advise technical teams where required. You will be a senior level architect who is used to engaging with executives on a global basis and able to promote and influenceparticularly when presenting around emerging / contemporary technologies such as Azure PaaS, IaaS, API deployment and Microservice Architectures. An understanding of Agile/Scrum will also be required combined with excellent written and verbal communicationskills. TOGAF Certification preferred.
