Permanent, London/Flexible Working. c.£100 - £125k +Bonus +Benefits Global Insurance Company seeks an Enterprise Architect, Infrastructure & Solution Architect to lead technology strategy for the EMEA region and act as a bridge between the infrastructure architects, application solution architects and data security architects. You will therefore play a key role in the definition of the infrastructure environment (Network, Wintel, UNIX, Mainframe, Azure Cloud) in order to meet the needs of new applications and integrated applications which make use of Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices with a focus on UX/UI application delivery using technology such as Angular and React to improve employee and customer experience. You will also need to feed into the data security strategy. The Enterprise Architect, Infrastructure & Solution Architect will analyse existing and emerging technologies and drive architecture initiatives from blueprint to solution design and ultimately implementation. This will require knowledge of a broad range of infrastructure environments including Azure cloud, enterprise application environments, contemporary software development frameworks including SOA and Microservices along with EAI, ETL and ESB to API Orchestration frameworks. Experience with UX/UI and Javascript frameworks/apps utilising React and Angular would be a distinct advantage. An understanding of operational data security principles, from an architectural and strategic perspective would also be highly beneficial. We are searching for an Enterprise Architect / Infrastructure Architect / Technical Architect / Solutions Architect who has worked in a similar capacity across all core technologies listed above in a global enterprise and played a key role in the development of architectures, architectural strategy definition and leadership of digital transformation within an Insurance / InsurTech environment. You will be able to create detailed architectural designs, high & low level, and provide guidance to other architects who provide detailed documentation to project teams and infrastructure support teams who will subsequently be responsible for delivering service improvements within their specific siloes. You will have worked as an Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect / Infrastructure Architect / Lead Architect in a European or global organisation ideally within Insurance, Reinsurance, Pensions, Banking or Financial Services. You will possess understanding or experience of systems integrations and ideally have some experience of EAI, ESB or ETL. Exposure to delivery methodologies such as PRINCE, SDLC, DSDM and the Scaled Agile Frameworks preferred. Excellent organisational abilities and excellent communication skills required.
