This is an exciting leadership role which will giveyou the capacity to support improvements in literacy in schools. As the initial focus of the English Hub work isaround phonics and early reading, we are looking for outstanding classroompractitioners who have significant experience and a proven track record ofteaching and leading systematic synthetic phonics in Reception and Key Stage 1.Literacy Specialists will offer intensive supportto schools to develop phonics, reading and early language development throughhigh-level coaching and mentoring. You will take part in a National TrainingProgramme offered by the English Hub.
