We are hiring an HOD for the English Departments of both the Primary and Secondary sections of an International School in Singapore.The successful candidate will commence in January 2022.We are only interviewing candidates who are already RESIDING IN Singapore!The role The HOD will be responsible for leading the English Department of the International School. You will ensure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement, efficient use of resources and creative development of the Cambridge English curriculumacross all segments.Your Duties will include: (but not limited to) Policy/Strategic direction and development Leadership and management of others Teaching and learning Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities Monitoring, evaluation & assessmentQualificationsThe school is looking to appoint an HOD with: Masters Degree in English Language / Literature Degree in Education (preferred) / PGCE - Specialism in ENGLISH Minimum of 5 years teaching experience at an International School(s) Experience in Leadership - HODor similar Ideally fluent English SpeakerCertification: Valid Teaching License required for all TeachersThe School This prestigious international school is a leader in creating innovative study techniques, which nurture independent learners.
