Job Description

Engagement Manager,Duration: 12 months Project Overview:

  • Partner Engagement Managers (PEM) help shape the digital future of Googles top agencies. We are a team of technical thought leaders, addressing complex business challenges with cutting-edge solutions. In partnership with sales leaders, EMs help clientsincorporate technology into their strategy. Leveraging high technical aptitude and in-dept industry knowledge, we provide world-class consulting and client service.
  • JTPs involve partnering with sales teams and the UKIs top clients & agencies to establish a technical road-map to accomplish joint business plans.
  • JTPs span a pre-defined period of time and drive business impact for our clients/agencies and for Google.
Overall Responsibilities:
  • This 12 month role involves management of 2 Agency Joint Technical Plans (JTPs) - both of which will already have been defined and set up.
  • The role requires strong project management skills, leading through informal authority across markets, internal orgs and client teams, and an appetite for understanding technical solutions.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  • Project manage 2 Joint Technical Plans, ensuring that projects move forward through design, delivery and final debrief.
  • Liaising and leading without formal authority across gTech teams (Advertising Solutions Architects & Customer Solutions Engineers) and our Sales teams, as well as the Agency
  • Keeping key stakeholders up to date on progress, flagging project challenges and highlighting key results
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
  • Education: MBA or equivalent practical experience, including of Googles platforms/technology or digital operations (including certification in Google Ads and SA360)
  • Experience: 5+ years agency experience - proven success in recommending and implementing wide scale changes to drive significant client or agency growth and profitability. Experience with pitching digital solutions
  • Experience: 5+ years consulting experience in a technology related field (experience working with Google technology or similar digital advertising platform preferred).
  • Skills: Managing cross-functional stakeholders, negotiating and driving solutions. High degree of proactivity and ownership of deliverables and KPIs - self-starter and self-driven attitude. Strong project management skills. Experience buildingworking relationships with external clients and managing C-Level relationships, becoming a trusted partner
