Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Enfranchisement Associate to join a leading, Top 100 UK London-based Law Firm. The FirmOur client is a leading, London law firm with over 200 highly regarded specialist solicitors who have established them as leading advisors.The firm has built an exceptional client base and advises wide range of businesses, individuals and charities on their cross-border matters.Their specialist Enfranchisement Group comprises of both Residential Property and Litigation Solicitors and are now seeking an experienced Enfranchisement specialist.The OpportunityThe new hire will take on a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious Residential Leasehold matters (on behalf of both Landlords and Tenants) advising on:

  • Claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended) and the Leasehold Reform Act 1967
  • The Right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
  • The Right to Manage under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
  • Lease variations and licences to alter

  • Experience commensurate to that of 5 - 7 years PQE
  • Experience of leasehold property litigation, including service charge recovery and lease enforcement would be preferred
  • Experience supervising junior team members
