Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious service organisation as an Energy and Sustainability Manager in the London area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients to deliver and validate energy, carbon, and cost reductions,identify and implement energy efficiency measures, low and zero carbon solutions and operational best practices. This is a Hybrid position working c2 days per week from the London office. Excellent salary and benefits and future career prospects.   • Building excellent client relationships to assist in managing energy resources to meet objectives and targets
  • Identifying, developing and implementing new energy related opportunities
  • Carry out all energy related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance
  • Maintaining an understanding of corporate energy strategy, legal, statutory and technical issues
  • Assisting clients to measure, monitor and report on energy consumption and carbon emissions
  • Developing and advising on energy strategy/solutions and developing these into working projects
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce carbon emissions within clients’ property portfolios
  • Calculating potential savings in terms of kWh, CO2 and cost
  • Delivering on opportunities through managing installations & behavioural changes
  • Normalising and verifying savings post implementation
  • Supporting wider energy management objectives
  • Providing full feasibility studies of costed initiatives / projects to reduce energy usage.
  • Project management and implementation of initiatives
  • Monitoring and verification through the full cycle of the project to achieve cost and energy efficient solutions
  • Ensuring clients benefit from emerging opportunities, innovation and technology
  • Supporting clients’ wider sustainability and corporate social responsibility objectives
  • Ensuring that the client comply with all Energy related Legislation
Requirements:
  • Degree or Masters Degree in energy and sustainability, engineering or building services
  • Extensive knowledge of BMS and control theory
  • Extensive knowledge of the principle techniques and technologies which support the efficient use of energy
  • Competency in current benchmark techniques and statistical analysis
  • Capable of preparing fully costed energy efficiency proposals and reports
  • Ability to carry out full energy surveys and feasibility studies of energy technologies (4/5 years experience common at this salary level)
  • Specific energy efficiency / low carbon qualifications are desirable
  • Relevant professional membership e.g. CIBSE, Energy Institute
