Summer Analyst Program 2024The program duration is 10 weeks starting in late June 2024 & is designed to provide you with the unique opportunity to discover our CIB business, culture & how we collaborate to deliver solutions for our clients. The program offers organised activities suchas classroom training & networking opportunities to boost your professional development. In addition to working alongside employees who are experts in their respective products & coverage, you will complete a major project & present to a panel of senior leaders at the end of the program. Independent Risk ManagementYou will focus on building a risk management acumen and develop a deeper knowledge of how to identify and manage risk through on-the-job experience in one our EMEA Independent Risk Management team, which will include a placement with one of the risk disciplines(team) within Operational Risk; Risk Strategy, Planning and Governance; and Compliance Risk, Operational Risk, Financial Crimes Risk and Strategic Enterprise Risk Management. The team provides independent risk management oversight for the lines of business and legal entities operating in the region. We work proactively with the lines of business and all Independent Risk Management and support functions to design and deliver effectiverisk management strategies. Our objective is to ensure that all business groups and regulated legal entities in region comply with enterprise-wide independent risk management standards and the regulatory requirements of the countries in which we operate. During the programme, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the risk management advisory and oversight activities and gain practical experience such as contributing to the range of projects and programmes underway in the region; reviewing regulatoryguidance and enterprise policies for applicability to our business; learning from and supporting the risk and compliance officers across the various specialist teams to effectively maintain the risk management program and undertake independent assessment andcredible challenge of the business and support functions execution of their risk management responsibilities; and attending various governance meetings. You will be supervised, developed and mentored throughout the programme. Required

• Penultimate year of university with an expected graduation date of no later than June 2025
• Demonstratable interest in finance through work experience or extra-curricular achievement
• A record of academic excellence
• Have the relevant right to work in the UK or EEA
