Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their teamLocation: LondonSalary: £60,000 Base + £45,000 OTCommission = £105,000 OTEReports to: Chief Commercial OfficerOur ClientThey connect the worlds most prestigious brands with the worlds largest retailers, enhancing eCommerce shopping experiences through the power of content syndication.Our client is looking for a Business Development Managerto join their team!Company CultureTheir company culture is based on the value they deliver; they combine years of experience with a desire to stay ahead of the curve in the eCommerce field.

  • Responsible for increasing sales from new and established brands.
  • Global travel is expected and required.
  • Collaborates with the Chief Commercial Officer to avoid duplication or misalignment.
  • Use Salesforce to handle all opportunities from start to end, resulting in a robust and professional funnel management process.
  • Strengthen the companys ties with the allocated list of existing brands to reach all budget holders and keep it at the forefront of all online activities.
  • Hand over the new business in a professional and timely manner to assure delivery by the office support team.
  • Follows all company rules, processes, and business ethics codes, ensuring that they are communicated and applied throughout the team.
Experience Required:
  • 6-8 years of effective online selling experience as a senior/CXO.
  • International work experience, as well as the ability to convene and conduct meetings.
  • Proven track record of surpassing annual targets of more than £1 million.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close important sales contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and manage high volumes of sales leads.
  • Thorough knowledge of and enthusiasm for the digital marketing field.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive connections with current and potential customers.
  • Ideally, you should have at least a bachelors degree.

  • Self-assured sales presenter with a demonstrated ability to manage and conduct high-level customer meetings.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation and persuasion abilities, as well as the ability to generate leads and close transactions.
  • Analytical, numerical, and goal-oriented.
  • Superior organizational abilities, including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both internally and outside, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; other languages would be advantageous.
