We are experts in facilities management, creating environments which enable people to deliver exceptional experiences to help organisations to be more efficient, effective and sustainable.We are seeking a talented Electrician to carry out Fixed Wire Testing and remedial work within our FM Compliance Department. Most of the work is in or around London but you may be asked to travel further afield at times.Please note, if you do not meet the criteria below you will not be shortlisted further.Main duties:

  • Fixed wire testing and inspections on commercial projects.
  • Carry out various types of remedial works including board changes, partial rewires, fault finding, installing containment and changing accessories as and when required.
    • Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience of testing, inspecting and the completion of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) within commercial buildings ranging from offices, schools, shops and hospitals - Essential
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing and Inspection certification - Preferred but not essential
  • JIB Electrician (Approved preferred but not essential).
  • ECS/CSCS card - Essential
  • Full clean driving license - Essential
    • This role may require Disclosure Scotland, Baseline or other similar security clearance.Hours and EnvironmentWorking hours are 8am - 4:30pm Monday till Friday (40 hour week), with an hourly rate of £17.77 per hour. This is a mobile role covering mainly in and around London, however you may be required to travel further afield. There will be requirements for overtime working. Travel time is paid minus the first half hour to and from work.For this role you will be supplied with a company van, fuel card, laptop, smartphone, power tools and company clothing.We are an equal opportunities employer and rely on diversity to deliver on our goals.
