Electrical Shift Leader - £48,000 + training and package - AldgateI am currently working alongside the number one service provider for Critical Engineering in the whole of the UK. The need is for an Electrical Shift Leader to come and join and already thriving team based in Aldgate on one of their biggest Critical contracts.Main duties will involve looking after the shift team ensuring all the following are completed in a timely and efficient manner: Extra works, permits to work, risk assessments, PPM schedules, HVshutdowns, switching schedules & day to day interaction with the clientAs a Shift Leader you will also be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building infrastructure/plant and equipment in accordance with client requests. The engineering team on site is responsible for all Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric duties whilst working across a continental shift pattern covering both days and nights.Experience is key in this role so all candidates will be considered if they have come from a Critical Engineering background and have a sound working knowledge in the following: UPS systems, BMS operation, emergency standby generators, testing of electrical systems, dual fed systems, CRAC Units, Down Flow Units, emergency lighting, AHUs, FCUsetc.Candidates with a valid or previous HVAP will be strongly considered however training will be provided very quickly to get you up to speed with this.City & Guilds Electrical Installation is needed for this role and it must be at least a level 2. 17th edition is another requirement along with an attitude to match the environment. Previous experience in a similar environment will hold your application in good stead.
