A prestigious UK law firm in London is looking to hire a new eDisclosure Project Assistant to join the growing team on a permanent basis predominately supporting the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Standard hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm and agile workingis on offer.Responsibilities will include providing user training and support to clients and lawyers in the use of the firms eDisclosure platforms Everlaw and Relativity, providing on-going technical support and basic troubleshooting of the platforms, and liaising withthe providers of the platforms in relation to more complex issues, carrying out quality-control measures and privilege checks to ensure integrity of disclosure, assisting on data mapping with clients and their IT consultants, liaising with external forensicIT consultants in more complex exercises, assisting with forensic data copying, using encryption/decryption technologies, administrating data transfer tools, setting up accounts, maintaining user guides and providing basic trouble-shooting, creating and workingon csv files and load files for eDisclosure platforms, requiring an ability to work with delimiters and to convert data between various file formats. Other duties include dealing with invoices received from external suppliers, calculating charges for our internaleDisclosure platforms and supervising the sending by a PA of sending monthly emails to fee earners notifying them of the charges on their projects, liaising with external translation providers to obtain translations of documents on behalf of fee earners, completingproject documentation, such as new project forms and purchase orders for external suppliers, including completing basic GDPR/Privacy Impact Assessment information, obtaining updates from fee earners on the status of particular cases, and reporting these tothe CMU in a weekly team meeting or call and recording, diarising and actioning any tasks arising out of the CMU weekly meeting.The candidate must have strong academics, ideally a law degree or technology based background, with experience working within litigation / e-Discovery.
