Job Description

Our client is one of the UKs best known Ecommerce brands and their marketplace and tech ecosystem connect millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of partners across the globe.As part of their ongoing growth and drive to deliver increased value to their partners and the consumer, they are hiring for an Ecommerce Trading Lead.As the head of Ecommerce Trading you will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment to deliver sales and margin targets through best in class eCommerce and trading initiatives.What you will be responsible for:

  • Development of the overall UK trading Plan
  • Develop and deliver the annual trading calendar, whilst creating and testing new trading/promo variants
  • Driving initiatives through pricing and promotions
  • Drive conversion through the optimisation of key user journeys for maximum commercial benefit and optimal customer experience
  • Reporting on key trading initiatives and running the weekly Trading meeting, delivering weekly reports on all trading metrics
  • Develop and lead relationships with cross-functional internal teams to ensure that the E-comm propositions works flawlessly end-to-end for the consumer
  • Work closely with marketing on GTM activities and act as the single point of contact for the commercial team
  • Work collaboratively with the BI team to develop regular forecasts
What you will need:
  • Experience in a senior trading role within a fast-paced Ecommerce environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of pricing & promotion mechanics
  • A background within one of the following industries / sectors: Ecommerce, Qcommerce, Retail, Online Marketplaces, Travel, Booking Platforms etc
  • Analytical skills, ability to frame and drive commercial analysis and turn them into concrete insights, actions and business improvement opportunities
  • A commercially driven mindset with customer needs always at the core of your work
  • Good working knowledge across Supply and Demand side functions, such as Marketing and Sales
  • Exceptional influencing and matrix management skills, with experience working cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication
