Summary We are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to join our busy Ecommerce team. Working closely with Retail, Marketing and Digital colleagues across the Trust, the problem-solving, performance focus and communication skills ofthis role are vital as we focus on growing this part of our business. This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikelyto be more than 12 months. Your contractual location will our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. Alternatively, you can enjoy our open plan atrium space for lunch times, with our internal caf available every day.What youll be doing Youll be a key member of Ecommerceteam with responsibility for one Ecommerce Assistant. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the Ecommerce function, managing the relationship with our logistics provider, maintaining high levels of customer service, forecasting order demandand carefully controlling costs. With the support of the team, you will manage all front-end elements of the website, uploading products, navigation, attributes, user testing and conversion rate optimisation. You will help to steer our digital enhancementsroadmap with colleagues in Digital. Youll use your knowledge and experience of Magento or other similar ecommerce platforms. You will be the expert on how to drive ecommerce performance. Continual performance review will be your bread and butter, measuringagainst plans and KPIs. Youll be skilled at delivering through others, working with specialist agencies and colleagues. Youll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile working environment embedding best practice techniques to support an ambitious setof objectives and growth plans.Who were looking for An Ecommerce professional with a good working knowledge of retail operations and fulfilment systems. Experienced in Magento 2 or other similar ecommerce platform and has an understanding of retail systems,integrations and data management. A good understanding of the key drivers of Ecommerce growth and profitability including sales, cost control, stock management and promotional activity. Good working knowledge of all Ecommerce Key Performance indicators andthe factors that affect performance. Experience in managing budgets, controlling cost and communicating return on investment Experience in managing 3rd party relationships with agencies or suppliers Excellent data analysis skills, highly PC literate with greatattention to detail A good leader and team player able to work collaboratively with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
