Job Description

The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the websites, trading them effectively and optimising user journeys.The Ecommerce Manager will use data, heatmaps, and other engagement tools to ensure high conversion, a higher average order value and engagement. The Ecommerce Manager will have strong commercial acumen, be data passionate, and have great attention to detail.This is a fully office based role in London. E-Commerce Manager Responsibilities:Technical

  • Managing our third-party website development partner to deliver high quality, innovative change, with a clear impact on core KPIs
  • Product data management - ensure that all product data is on the websites including images, descriptions, product detail, and prices.
  • Manage and execute the e-commerce growth plans, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver best practise eCommerce expansion.
  • Responsibility for the UX and functionality of the website, collecting and actioning analytics and customer insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Support technical trouble shooting and tackling any website issues
  • Review and evaluate with the Digital Marketing Manager the current technical scope of work in relation to future growth and expansion plans
  • Reporting and analysis on search and content performance as well as KPIs. Present findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Own the bi-weekly and seasonal website refresh - ensuring all banners, editorial assets are relevant, optimised and updated on time and tested before.
  • Manage upload of all new content assets to the websites, including homepage updates, feature pages, collection banners and blog in time and in-line with marketing content plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the UX and commerciality of the site
  • Implement all PPC and Ad campaigns, alongside the Senior Marketing Manager in line with the online strategy, digital budgets and KPIs
Commercial
  • Own the Loyalty Program in conjunction with the Marketing team - continually looking at ways to optimise retention via the website in partnership with our loyalty provider
  • Weekly and monthly reporting- giving analysis, actions points and foresight to maintain and track performance
  • Monitor current competition and new/emerging omnichannel brands for inspiration and market awareness
  • Monitor competitor and web sales trends to ensure web offer and experience is in line with customer expectations
  • Provide the marketing team with any product and landing page links for emails, paid ads and organic social. Test all links across marketing channels before go-live dates.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan end-to-end customer journey for any new collection launches and promotions.
  • Driving cross-/up-sell to increase UPT and AOV, with responsibility to analyse impact and optimise
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to upload content to the site
  • Working closely with Marketing team to define, develop and deliver an ecommerce strategy in line with the key brand and business commercial objectives
  • Devise and drive a performance and data analysis plan to inform and support growth using analytical tools
  • Presenting ideas and analysis to wider teams to align business processes and projects
Ecommerce Manager Role Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in Ecommerce within a fast-paced environment or similar, ideally within the retail/ beauty sector
  • Technical experience with ecommerce platforms
  • Google Analytics proficient
  • Experience of delivering digital solutions utilising UX best practices, with excellent knowledge of digital infrastructure best practice and site mechanics
  • Proven experience in managing third party suppliers & agencies
  • Solid commercial acumen, with a proven record of delivering results
  • Happy to be in the London office 5 days a week
