Job Description

My client, a leading multinational retailer, is looking for an interim consultant to join their eCommerce and trading team who is hands-on, data-led and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision on an initial 3-month contract based in London. The role will begin remotely and the client is looking for a specialist in eCommerce, digital trading and strategy, as they will need to be able to pick up projects and take ownership to develop insights/recommendations and action accordingly.Youll have a strong background in eCommerce and trading and it will be highly beneficial if you have come from a consulting background too.The client is also looking for someone strong on the analytics side, as youll be expected to crunch data and numbers regularly.Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for analysing and optimising the customer journey.
  • Responsible for improvements to the customer journey.
  • Responsible for improvements to the customer journey through analysis, insight and A/B tests on department pages.
  • Ownership of product across all channels & regions.
  • Ownership of the product sequencing strategy across all PLPs.
  • Responsible for holistic product launch plans working cross functionally to deliver them
  • Identifying opportunities to highlight products & trends through edits, headers, landing pages and content.
  • Create bespoke strategies in each major region to maximise conversion.
  • Maximising sales and service by using analysis to optimise red routes across all major regions.
