eBay Manager - Charity Retailer Salary £27,000Newham Full Time Are you a sales professional looking to make a difference Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic self-starter who is results oriented and target driven If so, read on! We are looking for an eBay Manager to lead our online sales operation.As our eBay Manager youll be responsible for leading our eBay charity operations and ensuring that we meet our income growth plans over the next five years. You will lead the eBay team to deliver a world class online operation which achieves both salesand profit growth. You will be fully accountable for the eBay P&L and have the ability to make key business decisions based on performance opportunities. You will also ensure that our eBay operation is efficient and customer focused, and will spot and respondto new opportunities in technology and the market place to generate increased income.Were looking for someone with a proven track record in delivering high levels of sales and profit and who understands the value and pricing of online second hand goods. You should have great planning and organisational skills, as well as a strong workingknowledge of eBay. Great customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate a team of volunteers.Key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales, profit, and customer metric targets.
  • Optimise the sales value of each item through eBay.
  • Ensure sufficient stock generation to hit agreed budgets.
  • Ensure all listings are produced in a manner that best attracts views and bids.
  • Ensure listing capabilities of the operation are maximis
  • Analyse eBay data to identify both short term and medium-term opportunities
  • In partnership with Finance, develop annual budgets to support the eBay objectives and in line with the wider organisational strategy for retail
  • Develop a pricing policy for eBay and ensure this is adhered to in accordance with policies set out by the retail management team.
  • Maximise the return on investment from all areas of activity
  • Provide performance reports as required for the Senior Management in retail.
  • Being aware of our Gift Aid operation, ensuring compliance with all regulations surrounding Gift Aided items.
  • Sort donations to identify items to be sold through the eBay store.
  • Maintain effective stock control of listed items and all eBay stock, ensuring adequate security.
