Central Government department are actively looking for an E-learning designer to join the organisation on an initial three month contract offering a day rate of up to £325 per day inside scope. This role will be entirely REMOTE WORKINGThe eLearning developer will be responsible for the design, development, final production and handover of course materials relating to a key projects. This is a creative role and will require the transformation of storyboards into engaging content to be delivered via eLearning (and supporting formats) and uploaded onto the learning management system. Any content produced will need to be submitted for reviewand signed off by a range of internal stakeholders including subject matter experts.It is expected that the content produced supports the aims of the project and meets the required needs. Various pedagogical approaches should be used to make the content engaging and meaningful.Responsibilities*Design, creation and distribution of a complete set of eLearning content and associated materials relating to the cyber security awareness project. *Contribution to the overarching project through attendance at project meetings and other ad-hoc engagement.Key operational responsibilities*Production of high quality, engaging content and supporting materials.*Transfer of knowledge over to internal teams at the end of the project. *Submission of completed work to agreed deadlines. Person SpecificationEssential job-related expertise/experience and skills*At least 2 years experience designing and distributing engaging eLearning content using the Articulate suite of development tools. *Experience in producing content that meets industry publishing standards (SCORM) and is accessible via the Totara platform.*Experience working on the Totara *Ability to transform storyboards into high quality content with clear outcomes and value to learners. *Proven track record in creating content using a range of interactive tools.*Assessment design skills.*Willingness to work to tight deadlines. *Creativity when designing content. *Good communication, project management, relationship building and stakeholder management skills. *Attention to detail*Decision makingDesirable skills and experience*Audio and video production and post production (desirable)*Existing access to full Articulate suite of development tools including Articulate Badenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
