Job Description

We have an exciting 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity for an E Grade Nurse to join our Digestive Diseases Unit Team based at 20 Devonshire Place (W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £38,906 - £43,590 per annum.   • To take responsibility for individualised patient care as the named nurse, using the Roper, Logan and Tierney model and documentation for the department.
  • To ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and be aware of the legal implications of these documents.
  • To promote safe practice and professional conduct.
  • To encourage good working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, to ensure the effective care and treatment of patients.
    • Skills & Experience
  • RGN with valid NMC Registration
  • A minimum of 6 months post registration experience in Gastrointestinal - Colorectal Surgery
  • Competent IV giver with Epidural, Venepuncture/cannulation, ECG & Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of gastroenterology conditions and interventions.
