E-Commerce IT Support Engineer-Onsite-Inside IR35As part of the Ecommerce I.T team youll be supporting investigation and diagnosis of day to day on-site queries - working closely with the technical team to optimize the customers online shopping experience.-Being the first point of contact and support for all ecommerce issues that arise-Support of problems within various ecommerce systems (from front-end ecommerce platform, on-site search tools, payment gateways to delivery tracking and returns tools) Investigation and diagnosis of issues and on-site bugs-Raising bug tickets and working with the EC Product Manager on prioritization and planning-Understanding severity and priority of issues raised-Technical administration and maintenance of front-end development, product maintenance and making sure the platform is operating well across all business functions including order fulfillment, payment processing and digital marketing.-Develop full understanding of key applications / business functions-Provide training and guidance to the ecommerce team as needed and provide additional support to this function when business volumes demand-Escalate problems and errors to 3rd line support or external partners and act as a problem owner to deliver resolution-Establish best practices through the entire technical support process Relevant professional work experience in the ecommerce space, preferably in a technical role Proven ability to work within cross-functional team A passion for problem solving with a proactive approach and technical mindset Strong presentation and communication skills Experience working with ecommerce platforms or CMS, ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud Exposure to project tracking tools such as JIRA Experience using Microsoft Excel + Google Suite Basic understanding of HTML / CSS and types of ecommerce integrations (e.g. direct APIs, platform plug-ins, data feeds, tag managers etc)
