Job Description

Dynamics Architect - Solution Enterprise Architect - Remote - 6 monthsOur client, a market leading multi-national technology company are looking for a Dynamic Architect, to join them remotely. The assignment is an initial 6-month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate.Role OverviewDynamics & PowerPlatform architect and consultant :To identify, create and maintain a central repository of re-usable Features for Dynamics 365 & Power Platform to lower total cost of application ownership and accelerate new deliveries by:

  • Reviewing existing BAU instances of Power Platform / Dynamics 365, identifying common components, work to extract and rework these into standalone Features and place them in a Client wide repository.
  • Maintaining close relationships with stakeholders in new / in-flight project deliveries and provide guidance to promote the re-use of existing Features where appropriate.
To agree, build, maintain and promote the client wide CI/CD process for Power Platform / Dynamics 365 to drive standardization in the interest of delivery efficiency and quality by:
  • Agreeing and creating an ADO Pipeline template in a central instance of Azure DevOps.
  • Maintaining relationships with technical leads in existing / new deliveries to ensure that they leverage and use the established CI-CD process.
  • Ensuring that all Power Platform / Dynamics 365 deliveries utilize Azure DevOps.
To document and advocate Client specific design patterns that can be used by new or existing deliveries to reduce the need for technical governance, expedite delivery and simply the Power Platform application estate by:
  • Reviewing existing deliveries, identifying common approaches, documenting these approaches in a simple visual way and placing these patterns on the central ADO Wiki.
  • Identifying all technical stakeholders and periodically sending central communications on new design patterns.
To chair, promote and orchestrate the Power Platform Working Group by:
  • Reviews of new Project delivery scope take place, and suitability of Dynamics 365 / Power Platform is triaged.
  • Solution Design assistance is offered to new candidate Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Projects to assist with detailed Fit-Gap analysis.
  • Review of new design patterns take place to seek endorsement ahead of presentation at ADA.
  • Presentation of important or useful information takes place to technical leads from all active deliveries such as Microsoft Wave update awareness, known issues, Microsoft new Features roadmap or demonstration of new technical initiatives with Client.
  • Creating a culture of transparency and will to help each other.
