Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant and with a passion for Drama Or a Drama graduate with an interest in working with SEN. Tradewind recruitment is recruiting for a Drama/SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Hackney to start asap. This role will be to start asap through to the end of the academic year. You will be working across the Secondary age range supporting the Drama Teacher in class. You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with varying needs ranging from SEMH, SPLD to ASD, providing academic and pastoral supportWorking hours are 8:15am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. The school is looking for:- Previous experience working within a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential - Experience working with students with either SEN or challenging behaviour - A drama/performing arts education/experience The school is located in Hackney with excellent access to public transport links. The school is one of the top schools in the country and they have excellent facilities for their Performing Arts department including Drama, Dance and Music.
