Here at Optum we use the office space to promote community, enhance collaboration and foster innovation.Primary Responsibilities:Work as a Full Stack Engineer to design, code, build and test software solutionsin DevOps scrum environmentLead team efforts to achieve timely resolution to all production issuesApply design patterns to best practices to software developmentRapid prototyping within an Agile methodologyContributing to the applications technology stackand driving progressive solutions to complex problemsWorking with technical and strategic product to create world class productsImplementing complex code based on guidance provided by lead engineer on initiative(s).Pro-actively identifies and addresses securitygaps in solution design and deliveryRequired Qualifications:Experience with .NETExperience developing/operating with a commercial cloud environment, preferably MS AzureExperience with Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryExperience with relationaland non-relational database technologiesMicrosoft .NET technology stack: C# / .NET, .NET Core, Web APIsDevelopment Operations: Working knowledge of code management tools such as Git, agile management tools, i.e. Jira/Rally, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AzureDevOpsAutomated Testing: Unit test development, Integration test developmentWeb Programing: HTML, CSS, JavaScriptAgile & Software Development Best Practices including code scanning and remediationPassionate about writing concise, well tested and robust codePreferredQualifications:Degree in computer scienceExperience working in a MHRA regulated environmentExperience with IAAS/PAAS services; together with delivery of Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/ARM/ AnsibleExperience with testing frameworksCareers with Optum.Heresthe idea.
