Role - Senior Architect - MS technologiesLocation - LondonResponsibilities

Identify, design & steer implementation of enterprise grade On Premise, Iaas, PaaS solutions for complex business problems
Primary experience of Infrastructure technologies both On premises and cloud
Support the software team in implementing architectural plans including hands-on involvement where appropriate.
Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, andthe development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing specialists in the formalisation and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
Enable the delivery of short-term achievements along a roadmap to long term thinking/goals.
Influence change to standards when necessary.
Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary

Must Haves

At least 10 to 15 years of hands-on application development experience using the Microsoft technology stack.
At least 2 to 5 years of hands-on Solution Architecture experience.
Knowledge and experience in Azure related technical skills such as Data Factory,Data Lake, Synapse etc.
Understanding of functional frameworks such as Pyspark and related languages such as Python.
Hands on knowledge of IaaC and configuration management tools
Good understanding of network, databases, virtualisation, containers, load balancing, DNS
Good understanding of security best practices (Azure AD Roles, VNet, Azure Firewall, Azure NSG etc.)
Hands on knowledge of Azure App services and Function Logic Apps
Business Continuity and DR implementation experience
Ability to concisely present an idea or solution through oral or written means.
Knowledge of project management within the context of software and services delivery.
