Job Description

LOCATION- Greater LondonSTART- Immediately startJOB SPECIFICATIONWizfix is a well-established plumbing and heating company, we are now ready to expand. We are looking for a qualified Domestic Gas and Heating Engineer to join our workforce. The full-time position offers a salary starting from £35,000 to £45,000 for a highly competent and experienced Domestic Gas and Heating Engineer. The position is full time and will involve emergency call outs/responsive work and pre-booked customer appointments throughout London for the following.

  • Boiler breakdowns and fault finding
  • Boiler servicing and general maintenance
  • Landlord gas safety checks
  • Emergency water/gas leaks
  • General heating and plumbing problems
  • Some installation work but 60% of jobs will be repairs/maintenance
    • All appointments are booked by our office team. You would be responsible for offering an excellent service for the customer and quality workmanship, ensuring all work meets current regulations. Our office team will support your day to day workload, including managing appointments and assisting you should you require it.MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE- 5 Years in the industryQUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • NVQ 2/3 In Domestic Plumbing (must be able to a supply copy or evidence of certificate)
  • You must have a valid UK Driving Licence
  • Must have a supply of own hand tools drills etc.
  • Have at least five years’ experience working in the industry
  • Must be contactable, work phone given
  • Have a can-do attitude with honesty and integrity
  • Have a good knowledge of procedures should situations arise
  • Must have CCN1, CENWAT, ICPN1, HTR1, MET1, CEN1, CPA1, and CKR qualification
  • The ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings, and work in line with our current standards.
  • Minimum of 2 references.
