Our preeminent US law firm client is seeking a Document Specialist to join their team to work the hours of 9.30am - 5.30pm; Monday - Friday (working in the office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). The main focus of the role will be to provide a seamless documentproduction service (creating, editing and manipulating legal documents) and other work pieces for attorneys throughout the Firm.Core duties will include but are not limited to creating and revising legal documents to Firms specifications using the Firms latest software and version of MS Office, producing financial statements, flow charts, presentations, letters and other documents,marking for cross references, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, defined terms, and indexing, scanning and formatting documents; converting documents to/from different software packages, transcribing tapes, producing mail merge documents, creating closingsets, CD labels and fillable-pdf forms, and preparing document comparisons. Duties will also include troubleshooting of documents where needed, proofreading work for quality and correct formatting, communicating with the Secretarial Manager regarding workflowand other issues, maintaining an accurate diary log of all work performed, supporting and assisting the secretarial department as required.Candidates must have prior experience working within Word Processing/Document Production function within a law firm environment, this is because knowledge of legal industry software packages is essential. Role paying up to £45,000 plus superb employee benefits.
