Job Description

Our US law firm client is seeking a Document Production Specialist to join them on a permanent, full time basis. This role will have a mix of home and office working. The main focus of the role will be to provide a seamless document production service (creating,editing and manipulating legal documents) and other work pieces for attorneys throughout the Firm as well as training new staff and Legal PAs on how to use, edit and produce technical documents, acting as a subject matter expert for the firm and main pointof contact for any document queries.This role is divided into two parts, core duties will include but are not limited to creating and revising legal documents to Firms specifications using the Firms latest software and version of MS Office, producing financial statements, flow charts, presentations,letters and other documents, marking for cross references, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, defined terms, and indexing, scanning and formatting documents; converting documents to/from different software packages, transcribing tapes, producing mailmerge documents, creating closing sets, CD labels and fillable-pdf forms, and preparing document comparisons. Duties will also include troubleshooting of documents where needed, proofreading work for quality and correct formatting. The second part of thisrole will be to act as a reliable point of contact for all Document related queries and train all existing and new staff on how to use a range of programmes. A MOS certified candidate would be preferential. Candidates who have also led teams and worked ina Supervisory capacity would be well suited to this role.Candidates must have prior experience working within Word Processing/Document Production function within a law firm environment, this is because knowledge of legal industry software packages is essential. Role paying up to £55,000 plus superb employee benefits.
