Job Description

The company are a leading company specializing in providing complete tile and stone solutions, offering top-notch services in the supply and installation of stone and ceramic wall and floor tiling, restoration works, and precision cutting utilizing our bespokewaterjet cutting service. Operating within a dynamic commercial market, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.Role Overview: As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their projects by managing and controlling all project documentation. You will be responsible for organizing, tracking, and maintainingdocuments, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures in compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Receive, log, distribute, and track all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documents, performing quality checks and revisions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project teams to facilitate document exchange and manage document workflows effectively.
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems, ensuring documents are properly archived and readily retrievable.
  • Monitor document status and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any discrepancies or delays.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by project managers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a document control or administrative role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is desirable but not essential.
