Job Description

Divisional Finance ManagerGlobal Law Firm, Central London EC2£70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + excellent benefits & career developmentThe Company hiring a Divisional Finance ManagerA Financial Management Accountant is sought by this truly leading global £multi-billion turnover professional services group. Operating within the UK, Europe, US and AsiaPac markets, they have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding client serviceand delivering innovative specialist products and unique solutions. Continued growth has resulted in the need for a bright graduate qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm, to assume a high-profile divisional finance manager role, yourremit is to support the CFO and Group Financial Controller in the provision of financial advice, planning, budgeting, analysis & reporting.Key Responsibilities of the Divisional Finance Manager

  • Lead and manage a team of c. 10 who are a mix of qualified and part-qualified accountants
  • Overall responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts for multiple regions within the division
  • Provide business partnering to COO and functional heads
  • Prepare commentary and analysis for the Group CFO and COO on key operational metrics
  • Responsible for the quarterly and annual forecasting process including detailed review and analysis with functional heads
  • Preparation of financial analysis & influential reports: providing financial advice, financial planning, budgeting, analysis (FP&A) & reporting relating to specific Business Services Operating areas/functions
  • Business partnering with senior managers & Directors to ensure a thorough understanding of cost base & potential developments that may impact on budgets & forecasts
Skills & Attributes of the Divisional Finance Manager
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
  • Graduate from a Russell Group university with 2:1 or 1st class degree
  • Ability to understand business and communicate with both finance and non-finance personnel and senior management
  • Exposure within an international Plc or global professional services firm is highly advantageous
  • The role demands a confident, self-motivated approach, commercial acumen and the gravitas to influence and advise key stakeholders
