Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading disability equality organisation run by and for Deaf and Disabled people. The organisations mission is nothing less than full equality and inclusion for Deaf and Disabled people; they have builta national reputation for effective policy and campaign work and for providing innovative business and organisational support to local, frontline Deaf and Disabled Peoples Organisations (DDPOs) in London. They are now recruiting for an inspiring new Directorof Services and Development to strategically lead and develop a range of capacity building services, supporting DDPOs across London to deliver tailored, empowering and effective services to all beneficiaries.Reporting up to the CEO, as Director of Servicesand Development you will lead on the organisations capacity building services to all member DDPOs (London-based, equality organisations run by and for Deaf and Disabled people), ensuring they receive high quality and accessible organisational and businessadvice, training and support. You will act as a key member of the Senior Management Team, leading on internal quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation. You will work to develop and expand Inclusion Londons service offering, working in close partnershipacross the DDPO network, establishing relationships, designing tailored services, and maintaining the charitys reputation as a leading disability equality organisation.This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, collaborative individual to make their markdelivering and developing innovative capacity building support within a leading social change organisation. To apply for this role, you will have significant service or project management and development experience, preferably in the voluntary sector, andwill be able to use that experience to deliver effective, engaging and accessible business /organisational support, advice and training to a range of grassroots organisations, working directly with beneficiaries. You will be a collaborative leader, able todevelop and inspire staff as well as partner organisations, whilst providing strategic direction and solutions for ongoing service development. You will have a strong understanding of equality and diversity as it affects marginalised communities, and willhave a strong personal commitment to the Social Model of Disability and the Cultural Model of Deafness.
