Job Description

Director of People ServicesSalary £140,151 - £153,036We touch the lives of adults, children and families when they are most in need, and are proud to support their journey through life in Harrow.We have seen how working with partners, early support andprevention are improving outcomes for our people. We can leverage this further, as we drive our post covid recovery and the impending changes in inspection regimes, and national policy.Theresno doubting this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader to broaden their portfolio; spurred on by a new group of Members following local elections, loyal staff and partners, its a chance to reshape services covered in this directorate:Children services and Education Adult Social Care services Public healthWe need an engaging and collaborative leader, offering broad experiences from different places on how to deliver outstanding services to our community. As the driving force providing assuranceon safeguarding, health and care integration, and delivering a balanced budget, you will inspire and encourage creative thinking from all stakeholders about the future of services, including embracing new technologies, and new ways of working.
