Wiltshire College and University Centre is the largest provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and plays a vital role in Wiltshires agricultural economy, inspiring people to develop the skills they need to achieve.We have a new position for a Director of Land-based and Lackham Campus to provide outstanding strategic and operational leadership for our land-based provision and residential accommodation across the College.Set in 600 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, Lackham is the Colleges specialist campus for land-based study.Currently undergoing a £9million redevelopment, the resources at Lackham including a new Agritech centre, a newly refurbished animal centre, a new robotic dairy, a commercial working farm and an abundance of indoor and outdoor teaching facilities for horticulture.This key position will be a member of the College Management Group.You will ensure that the work of the department is managed, developed, and reviewed in accordance with our policies and procedures to attain the highest standards of quality performance. To apply for the role, you will hold significant experience within the land-based sector. You will have proven experience of successful leadership and management within a similar role and be able to demonstrate a track record of effective curriculum planning and business development including student success, progression and resource management.Alongside your experience and qualifications, you will be student focused and someone who constantly strives for improvement in the student experience.You will be enthusiastic and driven with developed leadership and organisational skills.Closing date: 30th April 2021 Please note that vacancies may close early if sufficient applications have been received; therefore, we would encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
